Fireplace Service Technician

The Fireplace Service Technician performs a wide variety of skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of gas and electric fireplaces, and outdoor gas features such as fire pits, heaters, and kitchen equipment. 

Responsibilities​

• Provide cleaning and maintenance of gas and electric fireplaces and outdoor appliances

• Troubleshoot and repair operational issues and work with manufacturer and distributor Technical Support, as needed

• Communicate with clients regarding arrival times, issues found, and how to safely operate their appliances

• Complete required forms, reports, and logs

• Read and interpret technical instructions, manuals, and drawings

• Proficiently utilize various power tools and hand tools

• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle

• Maintain and safeguard company provided uniforms, tools, and equipment

• Assist in cleaning, maintaining and organizing company facilities

• Attend training, trade shows, and other designated company events

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills

• Experience working in building trades or maintenance

• Good working knowledge of power and hand tools

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and cleanliness

• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision

• Safety mindset

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

• Willingness to work at heights, on ladders and roofs

• Ability to lift over 50lbs
